ICBC Counselling
in BC After a Motor Vehicle Accident
Has a recent motor vehicle accident impacted your mental health? You may be approved for free therapy by ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia).
How Do I Get Started with ICBC Therapy After an Accident?
It’s very easy to get started. As of April 1, 2019, individuals no longer require pre-approval. If you have an ICBC claim number, just book an appointment with an approved Registered Clinical Counsellor. An ICBC counselling treatment plan will be created for your case. No doctor’s referral is required.
ICBC covers the cost for 12 sessions of counselling. If you require additional therapy after 12 weeks, we will work with ICBC about providing additional free therapy sessions.
